The Arjuna Lamp:

The Arjuna Lamp draws inspiration from one of the Mahabharata’s most enduring images: Arjuna’s extraordinary concentration, discipline and mastery in the famous archery trial associated with Draupadi’s swayamvara.

 The larger purpose is to explore how Bhartiya civilization can be brought back into everyday life through design. Our stories, symbols and values should not remain confined to books, temples or museums. They can also become part of the objects we live with — in our homes, workplaces and public spaces.

 The Arjuna Lamp is one such attempt: to take a civilizational memory from the Mahabharata and reinterpret it in a form that feels contemporary, useful and relevant today. P.S: feedback welcome. Will be happy to correct errors if any found.
